From the US, take Interstate 15 (becomes Alberta 4, 3, and 2) north from Sunburst MT. For road conditions in Calgary go to the
Alberta Motor Association.

Getting to Banff
By Car: Banff Alberta is due west of Calgary approximately 130 km (90 minutes) on the Trans Canada Highway (Alberta 1),
or due east of Kamloops BC approximately 500 km (6.5 hours) on the Trans Canada Highway (BC 1). Because the city of Banff is located within Banff National Park,

About the Weather
Banff is all about mountains, wilderness, and changeable weather; it is fairly sheltered and on average in-town winter temperatures range from highs of 1ºC (32ºF) to lows of -8ºC (18ºF). Pleasant, warm Chinook winds often make for mild winters in the region, and both summer and winter weather can be found during a single week. In November, ski resorts will be open but probably making snow. For current conditions go to Environment Canada.
